The Robertson based Prosper Stud will be offering four two-year-olds at the 2021 CTS Ready To Run Sale.

All four lots were sired by either Champion Sprinter Captain Of All or former G1 Vodacom Durban July winner, and Leading First Season Sire, Pomodoro.

The latter, whose progeny include champion Return Flight and Cape Guineas hero Russian Rock, is represented here by an unnamed half-sister (Lot 78) to four winners, with this well-bred filly – pictured above – hails from the same family as outstanding champions Dalakhani and Daylami, as well as current high-class Australian filly Four Moves Ahead.

Pomodoro is also the sire of Prosper’s Gift (Lot 102), a colt whose winning Captain Al sired dam hails from the same female line as current high-class gallopers Catch Twentytwo and Big Burn.

The Captain Al sired champion Captain Of All, whose progeny include last season’s star three-year-old Linebacker, has two lots in this consignment. Enid’s Girl (Lot 105) is a filly from the same family as multiple G1 winner and globetrotter Happyanunoit, while Winning Captain (Lot 121) is a colt – pictured above – who is bred on the same Captain Of All/Dynasty cross as G2 winner Springs Of Carmel.

The well-bred Winning Captain is out of a winning own-sister to G2 Post Merchants winner Daring Dave, while his third dam is a sister to US champion, and G1 Breeders’ Cup Turf hero, Manila.

The 2021 CTS Ready To Run Sale will take place at Kenilworth racecourse on October 31st, and the catalogue can be viewed online at
