Lammerskraal Stud’s offerings are always worth a look and the farm’s Sally Bruss will be sending a pair of two-year-olds to the CTS Ready To Run Sale on 22 November at Durbanville.

Bruss gave her assessment of the two, saying, “Lot 97 is a filly by Trippi from Savannah Air called Pato’s Trip. The dam is by Western Winter from the family of stakes performers Likeithot and Hot Weather and has been unlucky so far, this is her fourth foal. But we have high hopes for Pato’s Trip, she is a nice tall filly with good looks.

Lot 130 is Vervain, a colt by Visionaire from Ventura, from the formidable Nacarat family. Her second foal was Victor Forth, who unfortunately died on the training track after one win, a second to Soqrat and a place to Warrior’s Rest. Her next foal, by VAR, finished second. This is a damline full of potential. Vervain is a tall, deep boned colt who looks like a sprinting type.”
