Triple G1 winner Jackson, now standing at the Heversham Park Farm, looks to have a smart three-year-old to his name in the form of Freed From Desire.

The latter claimed her third win, from nine starts, when staying on strongly to down some well bred rivals at Turffontein on Saturday.

Looking well weighted for Saturday’s RA Tops Up Feature Race Stakes FM 91 Divided Handicap (F&M) (1200m), the Paul Peter trained filly continued her love affair with the Turffontein Inside Track with a polished performance on Saturday.

Under Warren Kennedy, Freed From Desire tracked the front running Bequest early on, and when the front runner faded out of contention, she kept going to score by nearly a length and a half.

Blue blooded Kingman filly Good Queen Bess showed she won’t be long in winning again by taking second spot, with Lucy In The Sky a further neck back in third spot.

Bred by the Narrow Creek Stud, Freed From Desire claimed Saturday’s sprint in a time of 71.93 seconds.

The filly is out of the winning Trippi mare Musical Romance, herself a daughter of Listed Laisserfaire Stakes runner up Ribbons For Thee.
