Trainer Mike de Kock will be looking to claim his fourth Cape Fillies Guineas win when he sends out the brilliant Desert Miracle in Saturday’s G1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas.

A winner of four of her six starts to date, the Dynasty daughter has won her last three starts by an aggregate of more than 20 lengths, and demolished some useful male rivals last time out when landing the G3 Graham Beck Stakes by nearly five lengths.

Yet to try the 1600m trip of Saturday’s race, Desert Miracle’s style of racing suggests she will relish the step up in trip and she looks a hard filly to beat in Saturday’s classic for three-year-old fillies.

Drawn nicely in six, Desert Miracle is the highest rated runner in the 2021 Cape Fillies Guineas.

Trainer Candice Bass-Robinson sends out a trio of runners in the form of Amanzimtoti (pictured above), Dancetildaylight and Jet For Time, with impressive G2 Western Cape Fillies Championship winner Amanzimtoti appearing the stable elect.

The latter holds all of Chansonette, Mercury Rising, Maria Querol, and Kailene on her Fillies Championship win, but is very poorly drawn which will not assist her.

Promising stablemate Dancetildaylight put up a tremendous performance when coming from well off the pace to finish a short-head second in the CTS De Grendel Ready To Run Stakes, but is, again, poorly drawn. Jet For Time, third of the Bass-Robinson runners, looks to have an all but impossible task on the ratings and appears outclassed.

Recent Summer Cup winning trainer Sean Tarry is represented here by Marigold Hotel, but the latter looks held by Desert Miracle on past form.

Brett Crawford saddles the blue blooded She’s A Rainbow here, and that daughter of Silvano could be the dark horse in the race. A daughter of Silvano and dual G1 winner Thunder Dance, She’s A Rainbow has done nothing wrong thus far, winning two of just four starts, but she does face by far her toughest task, and ratings suggest she has plenty to find.

Justin Snaith has four runners in the race, with both Maria Querol and Mercury Rising (pictured above) looking held on their runs in the Fillies Championship. Both fillies, however, are much better drawn then their Fillies Championship conqueror Amanzimtoti, which can only aid their chances.

There is not much between Snaith’s other runners Queen Of Shadows and Homely Girl on their Ready To Run Stakes efforts, with Queen Of Shadows having finished just over a length clear of Homely Girl on that occasion.
